Empire color scheme: Averland

I've been collecting an Empire army since the release of the summer campaign ''Storm of Chaos", I have lots of empire miniature but I've never been able to find a color scheme that was both good looking and easy to paint. Just a couple of months ago I started doing some tests with a black and yellow scheme and I'm really satisfied with the result.

The yellow is done with

• base of chaos black
• Iyanden Darksun
• washed with badab black
• again Iyanden Darksun on the exposed areas
• a final highlight with Darksun + Deneb Stone
